Every house will have a handful of pictures (photos of their forefathers, deities, art work) which are very precious to them, carry lot of sentimental value and is priceless. What better way to preserve them than a custom handmade teak frame made the traditional way? Our Photo frames are made of high quality teak the most traditional way and can be passed over generations.
Care was taken right from choosing the right timber from the merchant to cutting/planning it to right sizes, strong, unbreakable joinery thru traditional methods and so on… Plexiglass (acrylic) was used instead of glass to avoid breakage and to ensure safety. Pictures were mounted on mat to avoid direct contact with Plexiglass. Backboard/waterproof ply was fixed to the frame at the back using wing clips and adhesive tapes. Multiple levels of sanding were done to achieve required smoothness. Polished using sealer and varnish to bring out the shine and beauty of Teak
